The Wam is one of North’s most versatile waveriding boards. It can accommodate advanced as well as less experienced riders and can be used in virtually any conditions. The Wam manages to adapt to riding style and conditions do deliver a reliable performance. It can be used by entry level riders that enjoy a smooth down the line cruise, as well as by extreme riders that challenge big waves.

With the North Wam you have anything you need for a nice waveriding experience into one package. The surf optimized, slightly wider outline makes the Wam very stable and quick to plane. The increase in the scoop rocker makes it looser and easier to drive, but it also tightens the turning radius. The flattened out rocker curve between the zero point and the tail enhances overall control. A wider tail outline assures snappy and controllable turns. The North Wam can be set up with quad or thruster fin configurations, so you can adjust it to be loose and slashy or for more drive through the turns.

The Wam is easy to ride and hold under control. It also has an excellent grip and can push upwind with ease. It is built using North’s Bamboo technology. The layers of bamboo, mixed with special composite fabrics create a responsive flex pattern that makes the board agile and versatile in a wide range of conditions.
